JCB Emblem: Display Regulations
The JCB Emblem contains gradations of three colors, blue, red and green, and this is the basic display. It is essential to display the JCB Emblem in gradations whenever possible.
- *Special data and usage regulations have been prepared separately for display on card faces. Please contact your JCB account executive for details.
- *Please contact your JCB account executive if you need color samples (color chips) for use in print or advertising materials.
JCB Emblem Gradations
Japan Color standard ink, an international standard color, is the standard process ink for presenting the gradations of the JCB Emblem, and Pantone, SWOP (Specifications for Web Offset Publications) and Euro Standard Color are approximate process inks. It is recommended that the JCB Emblem be displayed against a white background to assure correct expression of the brand image.
The minimum application size is the size at which the minimum acceptable visibility is assured. The JCB Emblem will appear squashed or be otherwise incorrectly reproduced when displayed in sizes smaller than the minimum application size. Avoid displaying the JCB Emblem in a size smaller than the minimum application size.
*Please use the JCB Emblem (Special Cases) when displaying the Emblem in sizes measuring 13 mm or less.

Use the JCB Emblem (Special Cases) only when it is impossible to display the JCB Emblem in gradations or when displaying it in sizes smaller than the minimum application size. Please access the Special Cases information below for details.
Isolation refers to an empty space in which no other design elements, such as other letters or visuals, should be placed. Be sure to preserve proper isolation in order to assure correct expression of the brand image presented by the JCB Emblem.
Prior approval is required to alter the isolation space when creating advertising, video or other such materials. Please inquire with your JCB representative.
- *Always use the data, since lines indicating the isolation space are included in the data.
The JCB Emblem is formed based on the detailed grid scale shown below, and no changes in the shape or intervals between letters are permitted. Employ the grid scale when digital data cannot be used in the production of signs, signboards or other such materials.
