Color Display

JCB Blue

The proper color for displaying the JCB Corporate Logo is JCB Blue. Pantone is the standard color for JCB Blue, and Process, Web color and Marking film are colors approximating the standard color.

*The numbers in parenthesis are indications for Color Finder products introduced by Toyo Ink in 2005. Please note that the numbers are different from those of the earlier TOYO94 Color Finder 1050 and that the colors have changed somewhat.

The colors displayed on this screen do not necessarily correspond to the PANTONE standard colors, Toyo Ink standard colors (CF) or colors in the DIC color guide (Dainippon Ink). Please refer to the latest version of each color guide (color sample book).


Monochrome Display

The JCB Corporate Logo is displayed in black when use of JCB Blue is not possible. Please display the JCB Corporate Logo using a print color only when it cannot be displayed in JCB Blue or black. Display the JCB Corporate Logo in reverse when appropriate, moreover, depending on the brightness of the background color.

Minimum Application Size

The minimum application size is the size at which the minimum acceptable visibility is assured. The JCB Emblem will appear squashed or be otherwise incorrectly reproduced when it is displayed in sizes smaller than the minimum application size. Whenever possible, avoid displaying the JCB Emblem in a size smaller than the minimum application size. (Contact us if it is not possible to observe the minimum size condition.)

Isolation

Isolation refers to an empty space in which no other design elements, such as other letters or visuals, should be placed. Be sure to preserve proper isolation of the JCB Corporate Logo in order to assure correct expression of the corporate image.

Grid Scale

The JCB Corporate Logo is formed based on the detailed grid scale shown below, and no changes in the shape or intervals between letters are permitted. Employ the grid scale when digital data cannot be used in the production of signs, signboards or other such materials.
